Walking for Autism with TeamLoveHATE.com

We headed out to San Jose, CA early in the morning to participate in, The Walk for Autism. We arrived to thousands of people all there for the same reason. Help support friends, families and kids who have been stricken with this disability.

With the weather blessing us with a breeze we took pictures, enjoyed the music and waited for all of Team Mac Attack to show up.

My nephew, Mac, was diagnosed with Autism at an early age and being a part of someones life with Autism if not anything teaches you patience.  I have learned that there are several degrees of Autism and like a unopened box, you never know what you get. We also have a member on the team whos son is Autistic. Josh's son Alex is older than Mac and his development seems to be coming along great. I didn't know Josh during Alex's early years but i'm sure it wasn't easy. I was surprised at the number of people who came out to attend this event and the energy was amazing!!!

As soon as everyone showed up, we got our shirts, filed into the parade line and made several laps around the park. All in all it was a fun and memorable event.  Next year, we hope to be more involved with this event and possibly have a booth at the so the kids can enjoy the cars we bring out for display.
