Team LoveHATE invades SEMA 2011

All we’ve been talking about and why the site and Facebook has been quiet has been SEMA. What is SEMA? Well, this is how their semashow.com defines it…

“The SEMA Show is the premier automotive specialty products trade event in the world. It draws the industry’s brightest minds and hottest products to one place, the Las Vegas Convention Center. In addition, the SEMA Show provides attendees with educational seminars, product demonstrations, special events, networking opportunities and more.

SEMA Show 2010 drew more than 50,000 domestic and international buyers. The displays are segmented into 12 sections, and a New Products Showcase featured nearly 1,500 newly introduced parts, tools and components. In addition, the SEMA Show provides attendees with educational seminars, product demonstrations, special events, networking opportunities and more…”

So in short, SEMA is a four day long INTERNATIONAL event in Vegas with over a hundred thousand people, thousands of distributors, guests in the automotive, racing industry and the best of the best cars from around the world. It’s like ComicCon for fanboys, E3 for gamers, AnimeExpo for Otaku.

Kinda impressive huh?

Team LoveHATE is honored to be selected to have a featured vehicle with full sponsorship provided by JDMSport to represent our unique style of American Itasha as well as be the first Itasha styled vehicle to grace the floors of SEMA. We hope our newest design will please all of our Otaku fans out there and the canvas for the design pleases all of our gearhead / car enthusiast fans. It is probably every car clubs dream to eventually make it to SEMA so for us to get there in two years means a lot to all of us.

So I’d like to thank our sponsors, Steve Crain with Signs by Tomorrow for his amazing vinyl work, Lee Ho with JDMSport for getting us in front of the world and putting us into SEMA, Shawn with Arden Custom Interiors for the amazing custom interior, Alex with Rodoni Motorsport for his fender rolling skills, Tim and Roland for putting VuQo Premium Vodka in front of us, and finally all of Team LoveHATE for equally helping out with our SEMA project. Hope to see some of you up there!!! This will be our last article until we return.
